The Environment & Us

The Creative Hub is a full service web agency, operating from a site in Ormskirk, Lancashire. Our main products are websites, eCommerce and internet marketing and other associated products. We recognise that our operations result in emissions to air and water, and the generation of waste. It is our aim to comply with legislation and other requirements, continue to reduce the environmental impacts of our business and operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This policy describes how we will achieve our aim.

Responsibility

This environmental policy applies to all of our operations including management, office services, printing, delivery and procurement. Neil Kewley is responsible for ensuring that the policy is implemented. However, all employees have a responsibility in their area to ensure that the aims and objectives of the policy are met. 

Resources

We will ensure that resources are available to enable us to achieve our objectives and targets.

Objectives

During 2010 and 2011, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint by: 

• minimising waste
• reusing packaging and other materials
• all marketing materials will be produced using suppliers who are committed to reducing their environmental impact and on FSC certified materials and where possible 100% recycled content
• train employees on economic driving and reducing the amount vehicles are used 
• inform all customers and suppliers of our commitment to reducing our environmental impact

Monitoring and auditing

Progress against these objectives will be monitored through monthly management meetings.
